Forming part of Teeling’s popular Small Batch Collaboration series, this bottling has been finished for a period in Finnish distillery Kyrö’s barrel aged Rye Gin casks. The finishing process follows 6 years of maturation in former Bourbon barrels.
The result is a striking whiskey, rich in notes of gin botanicals, rye spice, citrus rind, buttery grain, cinnamon, peach, apple, hay, light white wine and toffee.
Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this presentation allows the whiskey’s unique flavour profile to really assert itself. Whisper it quietly, but this would do very well in cocktails. Just 1,500 bottles were produced.
